Created at the beginning of the 20th century and rich of nearly 150,000 specimens of nature, the museum's collections represent testimonies of all the biodiversity.

Blending science, culture and education, it highlights the stakes and social issues related to life sciences, the earth and the universe through various exhibitions and events.

Nearly 2,000m² of the Natural History Museum are devoted to permanent exhibitions on science and nature. Approximately three to four temporary exhibitions are also presented each year, including the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
