The Quinçy and Reuilly AOC wine regions

Immerse yourself in the Sauvignon Odyssey during your stopover in Vierzon. The Loire Center family of wines will welcome you to discover its cellars and best wines.

The vineyards of the Center-Loire are located in the heart of France, on the hillsides overlooking the Loire and the Cher Valley. The vineyard has been cultivated there for over 2000 years.

The Quincy AOC Vineyard

The Quincy Vineyard is considered as one of the oldest wineries in the region. It was the first wine of the Loire Valley to obtain the AOC in August 1936. The vineyards extend over the towns of Quincy and Brinay, a terroir of sandy and clayey gravel.

Your stay in Vierzon will also give you the opportunity to visit the Villa Quincy, only 15km from the hotel, a scenographic discovery and tasting area that will make you an expert on this wine.

The vineyard AOC Reuilly

The origin of the Reuilly vineyard dates back to the 7th century. An iconic wine from Berry, he obtained his AOC in 1937. It counts nowadays 48 producers with 43 winemakers.
The vineyard of Reuilly has the distinction of producing a rosé wine from Pinot Gris, a curiosity of Berry very popular, especially as an aperitif. Reuilly whites are particularly appreciated for their fresh and fruity attack, with floral and vegetal aromas that go well with Berry goat cheeses and green lentil cream with truffles.
